Neil Britten passed away in February 2023. Neil served as Lt Cdr on board HMS Antrim in 1982. Our thoughts are with everyone who knew Neil at this time. Rest In Peace.
Mark Butland served in 3rd Battalion, Parachute Regiment during the conflict. Mark passed away in April 2023 after a long illness. Our thoughts are with his family and everyone who knew him at this time. Rest In Peace.
WO2 Ken Bush served with 40 Commando during the conflict. He sadly passed away in early June 2023.

Lt. David Barraclough passed away in August 2023. David served on board HMS Antrim during the conflict.

Eric “Jumper” Cross passed away on 12th January 2023. Eric served on board HMS Antrim during the conflict. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time. Rest In Peace.
SAMA (82) Co-Founder and Honorary Vice President Denzil Connick BEM, passed away surrounded by his family on 3rd September 2023.
His continuous, selfless work for Falklands Veterans was an inspiration and he will be sorely missed.
In 1982, Denzil served as L/Cpl in the 3rd Battalion Parachute Regiment.
Our thoughts are with everyone who knew Denzil at this difficult time.
Captain (Hon) Richard Campbell OBE RN passed away on 29th November 2023, aged 90.
He served as CO on board HMS Hydra during the conflict.

Mark “Dosh” Downton passed away on 31st December 2022. Mark served as as GDSM in the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards during the 1982 conflict. Our thoughts are with everyone who knows Mark at this time. Rest In Peace.
Ian “Taff” Davies passed away on 9th March 2023. “Taff” served on board HMS Antelope as RO1(T). Our thoughts are with everyone who knows Ian at this time. Rest In Peace.
Stephen Dale passed away on 1st April 2023 after a short illness. Steve served in the Army with the Royal Signals, 244 Signal Squadron during the conflict. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time. Rest In Peace.
L/Cpl Christopher Duggan passed away suddenly in August 2023. Chris served in the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards.
Chris along with fellow veterans Curly Jones and Kenny Dawkins was responsible for the fundraising to build the Falklands Memorial located at Alexandra Gardens in Cardiff. Chris was very active within the Welsh Veterans Community and will be sorely missed by all.

Mick Eccles passed away in September 2023. Mick served with 42 Commando, Royal Marines in 1982.
Mick was awarded the MM for the actions he took during the attack on Mount Harriet.

David Finneron passed away in December 2022. Dave served in 42 Commando Royal Marines during the 1982 conflict. Our thoughts are with everyone who knew Dave at this time. Rest In Peace.
Charles Gavin passed away on 23rd December 2022. Charles served as Sub Lieutenant on board HMS Farnella. Our thoughts are with everyone who knew Charles at this difficult time. Rest in Peace.
Geoff “Johnno” Johnston passed away in his sleep on 15th July 2023. Johnno served as L/Cpl in 2 PARA during the 1982 conflict. Our thoughts are with everyone who knew him at this difficult time. Rest In Peace.
Charles “Chris” Jones passed away suddenly on 1st November 2023.
Chris served as L/CK on board HMS Arrow during the conflict.
In recent years Chris volunteered for SAMA (82). He held the role as Board Member of the Trustees and an Area Coordinator for Devon & Cornwall. His continuous, selfless work for Falklands Veterans was an inspiration and he will be sorely missed.

Bruce Kilshaw was a volunteer at SAMA (82) Office for a number of years. Although he never saw active duty in the conflict, he did serve in the Scot Guards for a time. Bruce also worked for the Tumbledown Veterans Association as an Achivist/Historian. The Armed Forces was very much the fabric of Bruce. Our thoughts are with everyone who knew Bruce at this sad time.
Commander John Kelly OBE passed away in June 2023. John was 2nd in Command of HMS Fearless and led the landings at San Carlos. Our thoughts are with everyone who knew Commander Kelly at this time. Rest In Peace.
Lt Col (Ret’d) Stephen Lagadu passed away in July 2023. Stephen served as Captain with 3 Commando BAS during the conflict.

Dr Peter Mayner served on board SS Canberra during the conflict as Senior Surgeon. He passed away in February 2023.

Garry Molyneux passed away in May 2023. Garry served as a Steward on board HMS Bristol. Our thoughts are with everyone who knew Garry at this difficult time. Rest In Peace.
Stephen Moorhouse passed away in July 2023. He served with the rank of Cpl in the Army, 91 Ord Coy RAOC during the conflict.

Robert “Bob” Mullen served as Leading Seaman (R) on board HMS Sheffield during the conflict. He passed away in October 2023.
