Falkland's 40th Anniversary - Flag Raising Service, Swansea

Saturday 21st May 2022 at 11.00am,  Swansea County Hall.

For many years Mike Thomas and Cadets from Swansea Sea Cadet Corps have been Raising the Falklands Flag at Swansea County Hall to coincide with the British Landings in the Falklands in May 1982.

This year, on the 40th Anniversary of the Landings the Flag Raising actually occurs on May 21st, when British Troops landed at San Carlos.

Pierre Cornlouer will lead the short service before the Flag is Raised.
In attendance will be a Piper, Bugler and several Standards.

As it’s the 40th Anniversary we would ask if anyone attending could wear blazer/suit (medals – individuals choice) and ladies smart casual.
However this is not a necessity and everyone is welcome.

Afterwards to The Bank Statement to raise a few toast’s to fallen comrades
