This page is dedicated to the memory of:

Guardsman

Anthony Keeble

1st Battalion Welsh Guards

_______________________________________________________

Anthony and I went to primary school and secondary school together. He joined the first Battalion Welsh Guards a week or so before me. I have many many fond memories of us growing up together In the little village of Llanharry. 40 years have passed since that horrific day when we were hit on The Sir Galahad, However it seems like yesterday. I was actually talking to him moments before we were hit. Just having the crack and a bit of a joke and I was told to get back to my area by one of the senior NCOs of support company. This actually saved my life I’m sure. Growing up with Anthony (affectionately known as Baldy) was an adventure to the very end. Sadly gone but never forgotten
