Stephen, from Washington, Tyne & Wear, was born on 24th December 1960.
He died when HMS Ardent bombed and sunk in Falkland Sound on 21st May 1982.

I joined with Stephen or ‘Snowy’ as we called him, I met him on the train from Sunderland on our way to Raleigh, he was a great lad, older than me and clearly focussed on what he wanted. A clever happy man who loved life.

In 2022, as part of the 40th Anniversary commemorations, geographical features were identified and named after the fallen of 1982. WHITE POINT is the northern tip of Staats Island, between Weddell Island and Beaver Island, West Falkland.
