Naval Airman (Aircraft Handler) 1
HMS Invincible
Brian was born to Joan and Jack Marsden on the 7th December 1962 in Rossendale General Hospital, Rowenstall, Lancs. He had two brothers, Gary and David, a sister, Jacqueline, three nephews and one niece.
Brian joined the Sea Cadets when he was 12 years old and loved every minute, so it was almost certain that he would join the Navy. He served at H.M.S. Seahawk, Culdrose, H.M.S. Heron, Yeovilton. He also served on H.M.S. Bulwark.
Brian died on H.M.S. Invincible and was buried at sea. A section of a letter written by Brian whilst at the Falklands is on display at the Chapel.
Brian was a happy go lucky, kind and genuine lad, and is sorely missed by his family.
Family and friends are encouraged to contribute.
