Colin, from Wyke Regis in Dorset was born on 31st March 1949.
He died when HMS Glamorgan was damaged by a land-launched Exocet missile on the Stanley gunline on 12th June 1982.

Fondly remembered every day. I joined with Colin at Ganges in 64 . Blake 8 mess. Went to part 2 U/C and thence to Minerva, frequently bumping into each other. Sadly missed and always in my thoughts together with his shipmates KIA.

In 2022, as part of the 40th Anniversary commemorations, geographical features were identified and named after the fallen of 1982. VICKERS POINT is a prominent point at the west entrance to Roy Cove Creek.
