Ann joined the Board of Trustees in 2010 and held two roles within the association. The first being our Families and Next of Kin Liaison and the second Welfare Support. Ann took both these roles very seriously and approached them with such hard work and determination. In 2014 when Ann retired from the roles, her daughter Debbie Pick, stepped up the plate and took on the mantel of following in her mothers’ footsteps with these roles. Ann also played a significant part in the Trustee team that campaigned, fundraised and assisted with the design of the Falklands Memorial, which was unveiled at the National Memorial Arboretum in 2012, for the 30th anniversary. It was within this role, that we got to know the real Ann, as she shared such personal stories of her family and the emotional journey that this project brought her.
