Albert, from Manchester was born on 26th July 1962.  He was attached to the Welsh Guards from the Army Catering Corps.

He died on 8th June 1982 when the Sir Galahad was bombed at Fitzroy.

In 2022, as part of the 40th Anniversary commemorations, geographical features were identified and named after the fallen of 1982.   CONNETT PEAK is the summit of Elephant Jason Island (682 foot elevation) in the Jason Island group.
