William Clark Hatton QGM

22nd Special Air Service Regiment

William, was born on the 4th August 1950.  He served with the Parachute Regiment prior to joining the Special Air Service.

He died on the 19th of May 1982, when the Sea King helicopter he was in crashed in the sea while transferring troops.

In 2022, as part of the 40th Anniversary commemorations, geographical features were identified and named after the fallen of 1982.   HATTON COVE is situated North of Death’s Head on mainland West Falkland.
