SS Atlantic Conveyor
David, from Newquay in Cornwall, was born on the 9th February 1939.
He died when the Atlantic Conveyor was hit by an Exocet missile on 25th May 1982.

In 2022, as part of the 40th Anniversary commemorations, geographical features were identified and named after the fallen of 1982. HAWKINS BAY is a shallow bay on the west side of the entrance to Port Salvador, protested by the nearby Centre Island, East Falkland.
