Nigel, from Cardiff,South Glamorgan, was born on 24th December 1961.

He died on 8th June 1982, when Sir Galahad was bombed in Fitzroy Sound.

In 2022, as part of the 40th Anniversary commemorations, geographical features were identified and named after the fallen of 1982.   ROWBERRY POINT is located on the west coast of Weddell Island, at the south entrance to Stick in the Mud Passage, West Falkland.
