He was killed in action on ‘Two Sisters’ on 11th June 1982.

In 2022, as part of the 40th Anniversary commemorations, geographical features were identified and named after the fallen of 1982. SPENCER BAY is situated on the west side of Carew Harbour, West Falkland.
