Glyn, from Cardiff, South Glamorgan, was born on 4th July 1961.

He died on 8th June 1982, when the Sir Galahad was bombed in Fitzroy Sound.

In 2022, as part of the 40th Anniversary commemorations, geographical features were identified and named after the fallen of 1982.   THOMAS POINT is a prominent point on sharp bend in the channel to Crooked Inlet (the westernmost of the two Crooked Inlets) at King George Bay, West Falkland.
