Philip, from Pangbourne in Berkshire, was born on 10th May 1956.
He died on 8th June 1982, when Sir Galahad was bombed at Fitzroy.

In 2022, as part of the 40th Anniversary commemorations, geographical features were identified and named after the fallen of 1982. WHITE HILL is found in Round Hill Camp, West Falkland.
