David, from Glenrothes in Fife, was born on 15th March 1962.
He was killed in action during an air raid on Ajax Bay, on 27th May 1982.

In 2022, as part of the 40th Anniversary commemorations, geographical features were identified and named after the fallen of 1982. WILSON COVE is situated on the southwest side of Governor Island.
