Michael, from Stanford-Le-Hope in Essex, was born on 14th June 1964.
He died when Sir Galahad was bombed in Fitzroy Sound on 8th June 1982.

In 2022, as part of the 40th Anniversary commemorations, geographical features were identified and named after the fallen of 1982. MARKS POINT can be found at the eastern point of Sedge Island.
