Peter, from Macduff in Grampian, was born on 4th October 1962.
He was killed in action during an air raid on Ajax Bay on 27th May 1982.

In 2022, as part of the 40th Anniversary commemorations, geographical features were identified and named after the fallen of 1982. McKAY POND is a small pond close to New House Farm settlement on mainland East Falkland.
