Cenotaph Parade on Remembrance Sunday

MEMBERS OF SAMA 82 ONLY – to apply to March as part of the SAMA 82 contingent at the Remembrance Sunday Parade at the Cenotaph London on Sunday 8th November 2026, please read the instructions below and complete the 17 questions, then click the “Agree and Submit’ button.

OPTIONAL LUNCH – As usual SAMA 82 shall be holding an After Parade Lunch at the Union Jack Club, Waterloo, London

The price of the Lunch is £23.95 per head has a choice of the following options.

OPTION A Hereford Beef Steak and Kidney Pie, Seasonal Vegetables, Potato Puree
OPTION B Grilled Fillet of Trout with Orange and Saffron Sauce, Wilted Spinach, Braised Carrots, Sautee Potatoes (Gluten free)
OPTION C Pad Thai, Rice Noodles, Jack Fruit, Bean Curd Cheese, Toasted Peanuts (Vegan and Gluten Free)

If you wish to attend the Remembrance Day After Parade Lunch you will need to complete question 18 to 22 the online application form below and make full payment.

Your After Parade Lunch “Meal Ticket” will be sent to you electronically in late October/early November, from the SAMA 82 Office. You will need to ensure that you print off this ticket beforehand and take with you on the day to the Union Jack Club. Further details on this procedure will be provided in October.

We will try our best to guarantee you, your first choice meal option.

There will also be a Drinks Bar available to all attendees. All drinks costs are expected to be met by individuals and not SAMA 82.

The information required in this application is subject to data protection laws. By completing these questions, you are giving personal data that the association will protect and use as given below. The information will be used for the purpose of checking against our membership and medal holder records. For this purpose, the minimum data necessary will be shared with the Royal British Legion. When data is shared instructions are provided to sharers on the limits of use and time that it may be kept before it is destroyed. SECTION C - MEDIA INTERVIEWS
By ticking the ‘media willing’ option this permits the Royal British Legion Public Relations team to contact you direct to talk in more detail regarding your service or that of your relative in further detail. With permissions these details with then be stored on a protected database and stories may be considered for such platforms as the RBL website, social media channels and put forward as potential stories for the wider interested media. All media enquiries are handled by the RBL PR team and no story or personal details will be used within a public space without the permission of the individual concerned.

15. There are occasions when the RBL ask for veterans to participate in local and national press and radio interviews. Please tick if you would be willing to participate.

16. The RBL work closely with the BBC Studio Events team. Please indicate if you are happy for the RBL and SAMA 82 to share your contact information with the BBC for media sharing purposes.

SECTION D - DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY POLICY
The information you provide on this accreditation application will be processed for security purposes only and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018. It will be utilised only by the key stakeholders for the Event as appropriate and will not be passed to any other external body or third party, except where there is a legal or regulatory requirement to do so. The information supplied will be held on file by the Royal British Legion for this event for a duration of 1-month post event. Should you wish to opt out of this process and have your data removed from the system at the end of this individual event please email the Remembrance Events Team at [email protected]

If you are submitting details on behalf of individuals other than yourself, you must ensure they are aware of the data protection statement above and you must have their permission to submit their information. You must also ensure each individual is aware of and has access to the the Royal British Legion privacy policy.

Privacy Policy The Royal British Legion takes your privacy very seriously and we will only collect the personal data that is absolutely necessary to register you for one of our events and to ensure the safety and security of that event. We promise to keep your personal data safe and secure. We will only use the contact details you provide to provide you with information about the event you have registered for.
