SAMA 82 Scotland Branch 43rd Anniversary Dinner

SAMA 82 Scotland Branch will be holding its 43rd Falklands Conflict Anniversary Dinner once again at the Pitbauchlie House Hotel, Dunfermline, Fife on Saturday 21st June 2025. Time 1900 for 1930.

The cost of the tickets will be £40 per head.

If you are paying by digital online banking please include your name in the reference. Once you have made your payment, please
email the Branch Treasurer David Dickinson, using the email address [email protected] , informing him of your name and number of guests.

If you do not have online or telephone banking, a cheque for the correct amount made payable to SAMA82 (Aberdeen) will be acceptable.

Please enclose a covering letter stating your name, postal address, email address and number of tickets applied for. Please also enclose a postage-stamped, self-addressed envelope if you have no email address available in order to provide confirmation.

This event will be ticketless, however we will confirm you’re booking once payment is made.

The closing date for tickets will be Friday 6th June 2025. If the event is over-subscribed, we may need to open a Reserve List, priority given to SAMA members.

The Scotland Branch AGM will be held on the same day and venue, starting at 1530. This meeting is open to SAMA members only. If you have your SAMA membership card, please bring it along.

The weekend of our Dinner event coincides with the Royal Highland Show and the hotel management advises us that the hotel rooms will be booked-up quite quickly. A limited number of rooms have been put aside for those attending the Dinner and wishing to stay the night, however these rooms will only be held until six weeks before the event (beginning of April). So book early to bag a room. Please contact the Pitbauchlie House Hotel directly, stating that you are attending the SAMA dinner.

There are also a number of Premier Inn and Travel Lodges within a short taxi ride of the hotel.

The menu expected is shown below. The Branch will be subsidizing the cost of the wine and Port for the toasts. Guests with specific dietary requirements are requested to contact the hotel directly.

As usual we will be holding a raffle draw during the event and any donated raffle prizes will be greatly appreciated. The Branch does not actively fund-raise throughout the year, with the annual raffle-draw being our main source of raising funds.
