Doreen was born on 24th December 1935.  

In the early hours of 12th June, a British naval shell exploded over No.7 Ross Road West, filling the house with blast and shrapnel.

Unfortunately Doreen was killed instantly.

In 2022, as part of the 40th Anniversary commemorations, geographical features were identified and named after the fallen of 1982.   BONNER BAY is a small sandy bay next to Beach Point on the Port Harriet coastline of mainland East Falkland.
