Mark, from Glasgow was born on 16th September 1961.
He died on 12th June 1982 when HMS Glamorgan was damaged by a land-launched Exocet missile on the Stanley gunline.

I was with Mark in the ATC Air training Corp on Castle Vale, I think around 1977. I only just learned of his death and I’m so saddened by it. We weren’t best mates but I do remember him well.

In 2022, as part of the 40th Anniversary commemorations, geographical features were identified and named after the fallen of 1982. HENDERSON COVE can be found northwest of Cow Point on the northeast shore of the Bay of Harbours, East Falkland
